(More customer reviews)From Starborn Industries web-site the smallest packaging for decking screws is 350 screws/pack. This Amazon listing doesn't specify the number of screws in the box, but there is a note below the item, that 350 screws will cover xx area. So, I assumed that I will get the smallest pack of Headcote screws, 350 screws in a pack. I bought 3 packs, thinking that 1000 screws will be just enough for the job. Paying top dollars for the shipping to Australia, for 3 boxes, exactly $ 47.93, it cost me a total of $143.81 USA (AUD 169.59). A good 70% more than 1000 stainless 305 would cost here locally or on e-bay, but I didn't mind paying extra for the colored head. But today, when it arrived I was shocked: each box had 82 screws only, in total I paid $143 for 246 screws! What a ripoff!

(More customer reviews)I installed these on a deck with 5/4 decking.
First I laid them out with even spacing (~6 ft apart) and traced them with a pencil. I was worried about weakening the integrity of the deck, so I placed them near a floor joist and evenly spaced between two adjoining deck boards.
Then I drilled all four corners using a spade bit, finishing them up with a saber saw. The deck stayed absolutely solid.
After I had the holes cut, i laid out the wire under the deck by eyeballing the holes above. Back up top, I used a 'snake' to retrieve the wire to install the connectors. Once the wire is through the hole and slack taken out of it, use a vice grip on each side of where your cut will be to stop the wire from falling back through. One person installation was easy enough.
The connecters were a dream. I love the lights and controller.
I'd buy these again and have already recommended them to several friends.

(More customer reviews)Mixed with Topside paint and applied to floor of 1973 14ft aluminum v-hull boat. I suggest that you wait to mix paint and grit until AFTER you paint "no traffic" areas (under seats, rear fuel tank area, etc). This makes for more grit in "traffic" areas and makes "no traffic" areas much easier to clean.

(More customer reviews)I wanted to share some footage of the project I used these fence post caps on. First of all, at purchase I was surprised tht the S&H cost was so high, but then saw that each cap weighs 2.8 lbs. They arrived 3 days early, and I was very pleased when I opened and inspected them. Each one was perfect, great consistency and a substantial amount of heft to them, they really feel like they will last for years. They fit the standard "4X4" post perfectly (actual opening size 3.5 inches, naturally). 1 regular tube of construction glue and my caulk gun was all it took to get these seated. I highly recommend these for the value alone, but the quality really is there and that can be a gamble when shopping online.

(More customer reviews)I bought this item to speed up the initial clean-up on some antique chisels. At this price I wasn't expecting the best and got about what I expected. The plastic liner the two plates are glued to has a little too much flex and the glue gave way about a week into use. This proved to be a blessing in disguise as I made a handled backer for each and continue to use them. Diamond stones cut very fast and, although they leave a more significant scratch pattern, reduce the amount of time needed for removing pitting, burrs and the like. If you're planning on a diamond stone for final clean-up I'd spend a little more and get a finer grade, but given the above I'd say these have been worth it.

(More customer reviews)Bought this screw gun to screw down subflooring on a house addition. Thought it would make a multiple day job on my knees , a one day job standing up. When it worked, the screw gun was great. Drove most screws flush. But it would soon start to strip screws and not drive them all the way in. I figured out that the bits were getting worn fast. As soon at the bit became worn, it wouldn't drive the screws all the way. Each box of screws comes with 2 bits, but that's not enough to even drive half a box - and the bits are small (special) not the standard 1/4 inch hex bits and hard to change out. I would recommend buying a couple of packs of bits for each box of screws you buy. I've got a drywall job coming up and I'll give it another chance, but right now I really wish I hadn't purchased this tool.
