(More customer reviews)I bought these to add onto my existing deck lights and just as the first set they work perfect. Did have one tiny issue where the bulb became loose and just had to adjust to get the light back on. They're great and provide just enough ambient light for accent around the permiter of a deck. Should use the white lense cover as a template to cut out the hole and not try to make all the notches to fit very secure. If installed straight down, horizontal to the ground you don't need an extremely tight fitting hole.

(More customer reviews)I bought a bunch of these to top off standard big box 4x4 pressure treated fence posts. They are made of plastic, but they seem sturdy and substantial. They work fine as long as you are careful not to drive the top nail in too deep (plastic will crack if abused). They only come in black, so I had to spray paint them aluminum color to match the existing fence tops. I will be buying more of these, as they are priced reasonably. Wish they were offered in more color choices or in aluminum metal. Delivery on time and in good condition.

(More customer reviews)I wanted to share some footage of the project I used these fence post caps on. First of all, at purchase I was surprised tht the S&H cost was so high, but then saw that each cap weighs 2.8 lbs. They arrived 3 days early, and I was very pleased when I opened and inspected them. Each one was perfect, great consistency and a substantial amount of heft to them, they really feel like they will last for years. They fit the standard "4X4" post perfectly (actual opening size 3.5 inches, naturally). 1 regular tube of construction glue and my caulk gun was all it took to get these seated. I highly recommend these for the value alone, but the quality really is there and that can be a gamble when shopping online.

4x4 Traditional Post Base Trim Review

(More customer reviews)I'd sure like to buy this, except I'd need an accurate description first, not one pasted from a completely different product. I want something to keep the end grain of a post from directly contracting masonry. I can tell by the picture that its a post base of some sort, but is it just a ring of trim, or something that the post actually sits on? Please delete the "post cap" description and put the correct description, seller.

Use: Post caps for ends of cedar fencing running along the lines of our property.
I wanted something that sat higher so that they would be seen on each side without compromising my fence design.
Pros: Bright, Well built, Top section comes off to remove battery easily if needed.
Cons: No hole on the base for a security screw. (easily drilled)
Overall a great light for the price, would buy again and again.

(More customer reviews)This light worked fine for my project. I charged the batteries prior to use. I had some trouble opening the battery holders because the tabs snapped off. After charging the batteries, I put them back in the holder and I'm sure I'll be challenged to get them back out, but the installation onto the post went smooth. I went out later that night to see a gentle glow which was perfect. My light is mounted rather high, so I can't speak to it lighting a pathway. My use was decorative only and I'm very pleased.

(More customer reviews)The Solor Metal Black Post Cap is a fine product. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the workmanship and material. The product works perfectly and the LED lights give off a very appealing moonlight color. I also appreciated that each cap has an on/off slider switch. If I had any concerns it would be that the on/off slider switch on one of the three lights purchased is a little harder to move than the other two.
Highly Recommended.

Deckorators 81061 Solar Tiffany Style Sunflower Post Cap with Treated Base Review

(More customer reviews)The Deckorators Solar Tiffany Post Cap light adds a very nice decoration to the posts in front of our
house but it puts out very little light. We expected this from other reviewers, so we were looking for
the decoration and not the light output. As with other solar lights, on cloudy and overcast days, the night
light output is weak and doesn't last through the night. If we had the wiring in place we probably would have opted
for a wired post cap light. One problem - the lamp cedar base mounts easily to the post with adhesive caulking, but the upper Tiffany cover detached from the wood base on both units, allowing a too easy removal (as in theft or accidentaly knocking them off the post).
