(More customer reviews)used cox 2X deck lumber that was perfectly straight, clear, dry and expensive, so just made sense to use an attaching system that left no visible evidence. the price for the product is unreasonable, but the results to this point are exceptional. installation is not difficult once you get your biscuit joiner adjusted correctly. screws in the box are now black on the top so do not show between the joints.
